Yeah, in the Air Force, stationed in Kadena, what does your brother in law drive?

Yes the car did need to be jumped, and to test if it was the battery I pulled the battery out of my 180sx and drove it around for a while, no dead battery, also just let it sit there for a while with the stereo on and stuff, charged right back up.

As far as all the comments on the front bumper, I knew it would be love/hate with it. It's a pretty crazy looking front bumper, but I think it looks good. I'm honestly not a fan of the stock front bumper, I mean it looks good, but I just don't like it that much.

Thanks for all the comments everyone (good and bad!)

Beautiful car but I would stick with 16s. The stock brakes on the IV are just as good as the Brembos. You are going to have mad clearance issues with 17s. But that just what I would do.

That car looks great. Personally, I love the look of the older Evo's.

Picked up the car finally. Found out a few things about it:

It's got Mine's front and rear strut tower braces.
I think the exhaust is Greddy/Trust, it's 3" cat-back and pretty damn quiet, I like it!
It's got red neon lights in the interior, not sure if I'll take them out or leave them.

I won a set of Evo VI OZ wheels today on Yahoo Auctions Japan and also ordered some Kumho MX 215/40/17's from Tire Rack. Also bought a front set of Brembos with Stoptech rotors, I'm hoping it will all be here within a week, we'll see though.

I LOVE the car so far, the Recaro seats are awesome, and it's such a comfortable car compared to my 180.

Next mod is suspension!

I'm learning Nihongo (Japanese) with a private tutor off base here. Learning to read, write, and speak. Only been going for a few weeks now, but learning all the basics.

Thanks for the comments everyone. As soon as it stops raining I'll wash and wax her and get some good pics and make a thread in the gallery.
