Thumbs up I left my keyless entry remote...

I was a jackass and accidentally left my spare keyless entry remote and key for my Evo in my pant's pockets. I thought i had lost it, but then my wife and i heard something rattling in the dryer and sure enough, there were my keys They had been run through the washing mashine and pretty much a full cycle in the dryer.

The good news is: IT STILL WORKS!!! Way to go ! It survived being completely submerged in water followed by some seriously intense heat. Either it's an incredibly well built little remote or my washer and dryer must suck... and i hope it's the former.

Souldn't be too surprised it still works. There are no moving parts in it or anything... just let it dry and it should be the same as before.

If you ever owned a DSM you would feel the same way, a lot of the DSM qualities are found in todays Evos

im sure that since no power was going through it and it had adequate time to dry off the circuitry, that it didnt harm anything, but if it was in the water and the buttons would've been pressed, it might've shorted something out.

ive had a flash drive go through the washing machine and come out working just fine.
