i hit a speedbump hard today by accident and i threw a cel. so i went to auto zone and they said it was both camshaft postion sensors. i have never heard of that before. i was hopeing it would be my o2 sensor for my test pipe. is thier anything to worrie about. the car runs fine and everything.

Your cam position sensor is on the right hand side of your head on the exhaust cam under a cap that has to be unbolted to even mess with it. I had this go out on mine awhile back. It cost like $256 to have mitsu fix.

^^ Lol

Seriously...Just make sure everything is connected and blow the code (neg. cable off, 15amp ecu fuse ect..)
Drive it like you usually drive it and see if the code comes back. Could just be a bogus code.

Any prior work done to the vehicle?

It doesn't look like you have aftermarket cams, right? If not and it's operating normally, clear the code and see if it comes back.
