I went to the shootout with my friends from ATX Motorsports. We left NJ around 3 am saturday and got there around 12. We saw the track, which was the nicest track I have ever seen, and we went to Buschur's shop. Anyway... We met a lot of cool guys, street tuned motorsports, keith from Chicago with his 1st gen, saw cool cars, it was just to bad it was rained on sunday.

Red roof inn sucked with their crappy breakfast!

 

Atleast you got to be there man One thing for certain, me and the Family will be making our way up there for the next one.

 

I live an hour away and didn't even bother, haha. Did you get a refund?

 

At least you got some rain. It would have been nice to go though.

 

that sucks....I was looking forward to seeing times from the buschur and ams cars.

 

It definitely sucks that the Shootout got rained out. At least Saturday was a lot of fun.

Well, the dream cruise was on saturday so i didnt plan on going down to OH until Sunday morning. When i woke up ( i live in MI) it was pouring rain.

I called my friends who went down there on friday, and they said it was cancled... SO SAD >=(

This would have been my first DSM shootout to!

 

I wanted to go too! Woodward was fun and I left just before the rain hit.

 

We are trying to reschedule now. We will be posting it once we have dates setup.

 

ya it did kinda suck drove 600miles to come watch and cheer everyone on. 1168miles round trip! even saturday night at cedar point I got rained on... damn..

Hmm, You obviously never have been to a DSM shootout before.. Even though it got rained out and nobody ran on sunday; I can bet many people who did go would say simply meeting people that love the 4g63 as much as you do was worth the experience. It was disappointing but still a nice experience. An no there was no no refund because they never charged us NOOB!!.

 

Hey Nick, please keep us updated if rescheduled. I would like to make my way up there with a couple of friends to attend and also visit your shop.
