little disapointed in my dyno numbers

I had me evo tuned yesterday and was a bit disapointed withthe results.
I curently have 272 cams/cam gears, aem ems w/ wb, 850 injectors/255pump. springs retainers, intake, tbe, o2 housing and few other things.
Input down 312hp and 293tq. My friend just got his tuned today with tbe, intake, and a 10.5 hotside and put down 311hp.
just seems a little off to me.
I also just install the aem boost solenoid to tune easier.
any comments and or suggestions are welcome.

Well what did the tuner say? Are those typical numbers with evos on that dyno? Depends on the type of dyno used and running conditions. I'm just learning myself so I wouldn't be able to help you out.

it is a dyno jet. it was the exact same dyno as my friend is on today. i was just there yesterday. The tuner expected a little more. i expected between 320 and 340hp.

You can see in my sig what my mods are and results. My best run of the night was 332whp and 338ft-lbs. This was done on a Dynojet Dyno. 78 Deg.F and 50% Hum.

what turbo are you running? stock I assume? Your numbers do seem kind of low, what psi are you boosting at? If you're running the stock evo 8 turbo, seems like aem ems and the 850 injectors are a little overkill for your set up.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the AEM is allowing for anything more with your mods than the stock ECU would. They're better suited for larger turbos and such yea?

And like it was said, since you're running the stock turbo the injectors are bit a much.

So, if you look at your car's mod list without those two...

"full exhaust, intake, cams, and a tune"

You seem to be in line with other VIII's with a similar mod list.

First things to look into with low dyno numbers are the obvious. Boost leaks, compression, and tuning. I'd put money on the tuning. With the mods in my sig I made 343 hp and 350 ft-lbs on a dynojet at 82 degrees and 78 % humidity. I don't think a 10.5 hotside makes a big difference. 5-10 hp at the most. Combined with other parts the gains grow larger, sure. I was also disappointed with my first tuning result, so I got a retune and added a few more parts and the numbers shot up there. Just look for th easy things first.
