It happens my Uncle got one for his Fatboy with straight pipes, He was just out on a road trip and went throught a town that was holding some sport bike thing and just happened to drive by when looking for a hotel. Bike sounds so good tho lol

sorry for the info which looks like it doesn't apply in mass., i never thought they would change a law like this for just certain states. seems like dumb but what can you do, just bad luck i guess =/ i have never been fined for my exhaust but then again i dont have that huge wing anymore

That sucks, but at least it was only $50! The Cops here are real Dicks, its a $200 ticket for us!

yes it will go on your insurance..yes it counts as a moving violation..ive got 2 on previous cars..and my insurance dinged me on those during the renewal

Good thing i didnt send it out yet! Thats what i was worried about. Surcharges suck and i have a perfect driving record as is. I am definitly going to fight this ticket then.

thanks Avengerhead! It seems so unfair to get "busted" for stupid crap like this when there are other vehicles and bikes that are easily twice as loud.

I got one of those, except mine was a fix-it ticket. I think it was 15$ after the fix, or about 50$ if you for some reason

did not fix your exhaust.
