I just found out I have a small exhaust leak near my canister. It is located where the hanger is welded onto the canister. Does anyone know a cheap way to fix the exhaust leak? I'm about to have the car tuned tomorrow. Will this affect my tune at all? Any urgent help would be great, thanks!

 

Take it to a muffler shop and have it welded shut

 

i had an exhaust leak right where my cat met my resonator pipe. there just weren't enough exhaust hangars to keep the pipe from sagging there.

so i just went down to pep boys and got a tube of copper exhaust sealant. worked just fine.
