Not gonna happen. To be sure, get some preliminary trade-in quotes from dealerships in your area. I'd expect $12K, give or take a $1K - for a stock car. I doubt yours is stock. Don't be surprised if you get offered $10K. I know it sucks. It's just reality.

Oh rly? I traded my srt-4 in on my evo IX 3 months ago. They gave me $17k plus $1000 trade in tax credit. No mods.

17k doesnt even seem possible...not for an srt4...it needs to be pretty much brand new...have a clean record...and have no mods

yeah usually dealerships are shaddy on giving you a good trade in price for your car especially if it has mods, stock is best to trade in. i would sell the srt-4 on my own to make the most money out of it. good luck bro...

tried to Pm you buy your PM box cant receive messages

2005 white evo with SSL

12xxx miles

car had a built motor with standalone ecu but 2 pistons cracked. I pulled the entire motor and i'm 99% putting in a brand new LONG block from the dealer. i'll do that if someone wants to give me a deposit and give me the right amount for the car, otherwise i'm going to put in a used motor. I have a guy right now that has a evo 8 lon block with brand new turbo setup, intake manifold, everything. If you want to buy the car for 26k and give me a deposit I'll buy that band new engine and put it in. Car also has a CF hood and trunk from seibon, and a few other things. let me know

-Steve

If you got 17k for the trade in, you paid for it on the back end (Evo cost). Dealers know the ins and outs of this game.
