Boric Acid

I use boric acid, if you cant get that use borax your mom might have used it at sometime to wash clothes. the ants are attracted to the sweet smell of the boric acid and take it back to their nest when they eat it they dont last long. it is a neurotoxin to ants. just wash hands well after using it will not hurt you if you dont injest it.

I would take the console and maybe the seats out, and suck them all up with a shop vac if there are alot of them all over the place, peel back the carpets as far as you can.

use traps if you don't want to spray.

Personally I would bomb them first and vac up.

Cinnamon is a good ant repellant, (smells good too)

And Boric acid is a powder you can sprinkle under the carpets or in the console which will kill them when they walk through it. you can get it a home depot in the same isle as the sprays.

1. Drive car to Las Vegas
2. Leave car in sun for 5 minutes

Ants will die and disintegrate. No need for cleanup.

That's happened to me before with my work vehicle.. Just gotta find out where they are and spray them.. They can travel between your pillars and stuff.. Maybe remove the step plates to see if they're under there.. I suggest you use a scented spray cause the regular schit stinks like hell and you'll get high as a kite asperating it.. Another suggestion is to do it when you have a nice powerful vacuum around like a shop-vac or the gas station vacuum.. that was when you start movin stuff and spraying, they scatter and you can suck them out at the same time.. Good luck with your little project.. Those bastards!!

Ok so go to Home Depot and get this stuff called ,"Andro" It's little yellow grains that the fire ants will take to the queen. She eats it, she dies, they leave. Big time ant problem in Florida, this stuff works. No powder to get on you like boric acid, although it works, that stuff really needs to be used outside, it's toxic for sure.

Tero (I think thats how you spell it) works for sweet ants, I dont know if it will work for fire ants tho, but you can get it at walmart. It comes in a liquid form and you just put in on these cardboard tabs that are on the package and they will flock to them like Bobby Brown to crack. They take it back and it kills the whole nest. I get sweet ants really bad after a good rain and this always takes care of them. I also go and get the bug granuals that you spread in your lawn to help control what is near the house too.
