ok, so i threw the EGR code again but it wasn't the disconnected line where everyone else pops theirs off... I got the joy of breaking a clip somehow...Its not really a clip, it looks like its a fitting taking the two vaccum lines and making them into one

My question is this: Where does this these two lines merge into one and can I just use another fitting? I couldn't see where they went or the other half of the broken clip.

Does the clip just hold those 2 lines together, or is it an actual "Y" fitting that merges 2 lines into 1?

 

it looks like a Y fitting but I cant find the rest of it. its a weird lookin clip

 

 

I don't think its a Y fitting. I have seen the vacuum lines. They run from the valve to two fittings on the solenoid. One of my fittings broke off the solenoid and I rigged a new fiiting to attacht the two hoses (sourced from the boost solenoid). I will check again tommorow, but I am pretty sure.

In the meantime, does anyone know where I can get a new solenoid besides at the dealer?
