it works through the e brake. you need to hook it up. when you're done with the e brake switch make sure to pull it up before you turn the car off.

When the e-brake wire is connected and you engage the e-brake, that wire is grounded. When you let off the e-brake, that wire is no longer grounded and the car shuts off. You either need to connect that wire to the e-brake or you need to connect it to a ground.

Easiest to just put it to a ground. Unless you ever need the option of your turbo timer not keeping your car on.

if you can hook the harness up then theres no reason why you shouldn't have the e-brake wire hooked up.

u need to have it hooked up if you dont then someone could in theory take your care for a joy ride. they could just keep upping the time on the TT tilll there done. when you disengage the E brake is when the care will shut off preventing from anyone jacking your care while the TT is running.

Except for the fact that they wouldn't be able to turn the steering wheel. Not to mention the fact that you can do the same thing by lowering the parking brake to the first notch.
