Car Won't Start...
Can't seem to get my car started. I did a clutch (just the disc) install and put everything back together after a month and a half. I was only taking my time on it and working on it whenever I felt like it. So finally everything comes back together. I get the car started and while running my car throws a cel. So I tell one of my buddies at Toyota (a Tech) if I can swing by tomorrow and check the cel. So I drive around town for a bit and go to my buddies house, then come home. Disconnect the battery to see if the cel will come on tomorrow on the way to my buddies workplace.
In the morning I remembered I had to adjust the clutch because it was engaging too late. I adjust the clutch, reconnect the battery, then I try to crank the car. I get power and a little click, then nothing else. The starter doesn't engage. I readjust the pedal to the original position, nothing, swap fuel pumps to my stock one and I get nothing, test my starter and my starter powers. I uninstall the battery and upper ic pipe, intake and recheck all my lines, everything is connected and right. I check my fuses and all the normal ones are fine. The defroster one under the dash wont light up to my fuse checker but the fuse is fine, anyone know why? Oh I managed to get it to start again after letting it sit in the on position for about 10 minutes, then after that I let it run for 5 minutes, then turn the car off and it wouldn't start again.
So what's wrong with my car? Are there any other fuses besides the ones under the hood and under the driver side dash? Are those little black boxes in the fuse box fuses or are they relays? How do we check them?

Gas is half tank. I tried a different battery which still works but it wasn't new. I get the same thing. I don't think it's the battery though since I get power to everything.
check the clutch sensor by the pedal, if it's not connected then the car wont start just like it wont start if you do not press the clutch all the way in when turning the key.
Ok im a freaken idiot. Thanks for mentioning the clutch. I checked the clutch and everything was plugged. I was looking under there while depressing the clutch, there is a little white plastic pin sensor there (where you push the clutch in to start the car). Well on the back of the pedal is a little circle rubber piece that was barely pushing that pin in by the edge and the car wouldn't start. I remember pulling on that bracket for that sensor out a little to get more room to loosen the nut for the pedal. Well I bent that bracket back to the original position where the white plastic pin is directly in the middle of the circle rubber on the pedal and the car started.

i just disconnected mine so i no longer need to push the clutch in to start the car... then i bent the bracket up so i can reach the clutch adjustment bar easier. Im glad you got it working
