2003 evo 8 with 55k. Blue with volk 18 lowering springs. might be coilovers. for $15200?

Has an accedent indactor on the car fax. says car was backed into while parked.

No salvage title.

over all the car is clean. with no mods. head gasket leaks oil. but stiill under power warranty. until 60k

What do you guys think.

Anyone can tell you anything as far as what happened to the car.You should ask for some type of documentation as far as repairs or even a police report.

 

car is trashed! dont do it. mods were most likely taken off and sold. Oil from head gasket is not fun.

You will eventually end up with thousands in repairs and absolutely hate the evo because of it.

 

yea an evo with 55k that has an accident and has oil leaking...not a good first impression...but the price is nice!

 

well find out if he can get the oil leak fixed if so then it sounds like a good deal to me

 

All you need is a dealer who looks at the suspension mods and bingo...no warrenty...Now you get to flip the bill for the repair on top of the 15k you just spent for the car....

 

just because its lowered that means the power train warrranty is no longer available?

^depends on the dealer, but i'd say 75% of the time, yes.

 

The dealer will probably find any way to get out of a warranty....

 

The leaky head gasket would be a major turn-off for me...unless you are planning to mod the hell out of it in the very near future.
