I believe it does hit the hood.

hey guys I have an AMS manifold and I want to order a Cwest hood.... my question is that the manifold comes up high while the vent on the cwest hood comes low..... my manifold already comes close to touching the grill on the stock hood.... does anyone have this setup??? i'm not sure if i want to cut up the hood to make it fit with it.. any help is appreciated... thanks
