what to do with that "lancer thing" on guages???

The overlays that are just above I would be weary about... how dim are they at night now.
I have the Trustz gauges, They are EL gauges, so they have their own light source and can be extremely bright.
I got the blue gauges, to match my blue 60mm Link2 gauges in a rexpeed pod.
They install over the needles because the center opening is slightly larger than the needle base.
2 suggestions:
1: dissassemble the LED, scrape the red off of the diffuser pannel and replace with a blue plastic gel, or no gel if you are using the white gauges from trustz
2: do not use the overlays that go over the turn signal portions... they will just make your turn signals dimmer.
The trustz gauges need a power source. I soldered/heat shrinked in the power source / ground into the dimmer switch. This way when the headlights go on, the EL gauges light up.
I am very impressed with my dash so far
