Roomate just backed into my car

Ok, so im upstairs i and hear a noise and im like please dnt tell me thats it. Roomate comes inside F*** bro i just hit your car, i go outwise its the front bumper, just about a foot long on black on mu front bumper. nothing seems to be to bad besides that. Whats the quickest way to fix this? im not going into insuracnce and crap, so is buffing it out and painting it thebest, ordering a new bumper best? or even g oto the extent and making my car look nicer with an aftermarket bumper best, whats everyone think?

Only thing I worry about insurance settlements is sometimes that will show on a carfax as some form of wreck so get him to get you a new aftermarket bumper!

DO NOT go through your insurance. Make your roommate pay for it, and don't put some funky bodykit front bumper on it, keep it stock. Try to get it buffed out and painted, if they can't do that make him pay for a new bumper.

How deep is the scratch? If it is mostly just paint transfer and minimal scratches, chances are that it can be buffed out. If the scratches are all the way through the paint to the metal/plastic, the you will need to paint. A front bumper re painted at a reputable shop will be around $400...ask how I know
