highest horsepower on stock ecu
a buschur GT35r.. I know this car intimately
makes 425whp on a very conservative low boost pump tune.
Car was built to run E85 once the fuel system is upgraded and the fuel is more available, it will get some much more hardcore tuning. Have plans for high compression to take advantage of the fuel when its widely available. So the car is keeping its street tune until then.

hehehe . how do you feel this compares to the maf-t??? can you link me to the unit's your talking about?? id like to check them out
you might get lucky and find a used pro-M unit, and the MAF itself is still manufactured, but I have mine integrated into a buschur upper intercooler pipe with a custom saddle. Unfortunately my MAF is the only one of its kind. I own two other Evo specific MAF units, one was drilled for an AIT sensor as a drawthrough, the other was not for use as a blowthrough.
Pro-M electronics is no longer in production. PMAS supposedly has purchased the assets of Pro-Flow / Pro-M and one of the original engineers I think is involved with it. However I have yet to see any production ready devices from them.
the ECU+ with a blowthrough GM Maf with Dejontool UICP is a good option, alternatives are the MAFT Pro with GM Maf.
I am not a fan of speed density as I don't like the drivability quirks that tend to crop up. However the MAFT Pro speed density conversion, or HKS VPC with a 2G Rom (if you can find one) can also be used.
the ECU is a very powerful tool, and we're capable of doing alot more with it than what is currently widely known.

The ultimate point being the engine management (Stock ECU) Is not, and never will be the restriction to making power. Proper tuning and proper understanding of the tools, plus a proper combination, are what make power.
