My Evo dreams...

are turning into nightmares. Everytime I get on this forum there is a new prob with the Evo. I'm starting to shy away from the car. But its so badass. Should I still go through with the purchase of the car or wait a little bit 'till sh_tsubishi gets their act together. I have one lined up for me at the dealer. I just have to get rid of my si. Thanks

Alex

Don't be scared...remember, you will always hear from the people who have problems, but not the people who don't...it kinda skews your perception...if the Evo sucked, they wouldn't sell so many of 'em!

I have not had a single problem.

Take into account that one problem tends to look much larger on boards like this one.

Another thing to consider is how skilled some of the drivers purchasing the cars are. Some of the drivers having problems may be abusing their cars a bit much

No regrets so far.

Grinding gears in the Evo or pinging valves in the STi, take your pick. That's what warrantees are for my man!
I agree NOVA and Fred on this one, these boards seem to blow the problems out of proportion I think.

<- not a single problem. 7000+ miles of trouble-free ownership.

Only problem is I need more seat time in the Evo - I need to take a job that's farther away from my house...
