I know there is alot of coversation going on about evos and alot of hate just flowing around... I want to hear some happy thoughts if you will about the evo.. What mods have you installed that you just cant live with out? Just ingeneral what do you REALLY REALLY love about it???

I also ask the mod question because I want a good starting point.. Looking in the the volk gt-n wheels

The coolest mod I did was the boost controller.. My favorite mod was the S-AFC install.. the FIRST mod you really should do if you plan on making more power is install a boost gauge.

 

My evo has apexi turbo timer and boost gague from factory, or dealer I should say.. Came with the car..

at first but wanted to see what peeps thought was the best.. I also dont wanna void any warrentys.. Still lets keep the post going.

SAFC is the best mod so far.
MBC is right behind it.

 

I have a turbo timer, doing a boost gauge in about 2 weeks, then going to do Vishu Stage 0 with the downpipe, cat-back and computer. I will try to do a before and after dyno

 

safc seems to be leading.... Great responce so far...

Stereo... 1200 watts and a good head unit + real speakers and sub make for a much nicer ride.

But for seat of the pants and attention the full 3" exhaust was cool.

Then the boost guage/controller and SAFC.

Pretty much the order things went in.

 

guess i'm the only one that likes his wheels and suspension mods the most...

i also did a drop in filter which you never even realize...

exhuast will be going on next week, and i just did the VII tails...

next spring i'll do a DP, boost controller, gauge set-up...

also still looking for a CF front lip to match the rear wing... the front of the car sits too high... needs the illusion of sitting lower...

 

so far I have a drop in ari filter... Im scared to do anything eles because of warrenty issues...

Turbo back so far. Makes it sound like the car it is.

 

My first mod and only mod so far Works flash Ecu. This really woke up the car. Its so smooth thougthout the power band now. Next month exhaust,downpipe, boost controller, and boost gauge.

 

why didn't you wait to get the flash until after the exhaust mods... :?

 

Sounds good... Now I need to figure out what I want to get, and if it voids warrenty.....
