Ok, granted this is not big evo news, but I thought it was cool enough to share. Car and Driver printed an email I sent them concerning a misprint in their October issue concerning evo X in the Backfires section (page 17) of their January issue that just showed up in the mail. EvoM represent (j/k).

"In the October issue you state that the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X “…uses a carry-over turbocharged 2.0 liter…” engine. Carry over! The venerable 4G63 engine took its final bow in the Evo IX. The Evo X will utilize the new 4B11 inline four. While we’re at it let’s catch the C&D staff up on a few other topics; the Cold War is over, we’ve walked on the moon, and women have the right to vote."

Selfish plug: my evo IX in Bethesda, MD is on ebay for sale. Hate to see it go, but you gotta do what you gotta do.
