New EVO8 $10,100

O.K. Im on ebay checking things out and for fun I look at ebay motors and search EVO8. the first three things on there were EVOs for sale between $10,100 and 23,100.

Can this be true. One guy has a 96% positive rating.

Why so cheap. Are our cars that over valued? WTF.

there has to be some catch. deal like that is 2 good 2 b true. i don't think i'ld really believe crap like that. maybe if the dude selling the car doesn't get a high enough bid, at the last second, he'll just buy his own car. who knows.

There was one auction a few months ago in which the bids were for how much over the stated MSRP (something like 29000) you were willing to pay to get one.

Is this one a rebuilt total?

The items have a reserve.. in other words, he isn't obligated to sell the car if it doesnt meet his reserve.. If he didn't set a reserve, he either made a mistake, or its not legit.. The seller actually isn't obligated to sell if he chooses not to anyway.. just be wary of anything thats too good to be true.

"reserve not met"

No Evo's are selling for $10k on ebay.

If you want to see how much Evo's are selling for on Ebay, look at the completed items....if the reserve price has been met, it likely sold.

edit: Actually, there have been very few successful Evo autcions on Ebay. Most auctions have ended without the reserve being met. But I did find one that sold.

This one sold for $29,000

fyi, Vivid's car didn't even meet it's reserve....so it didn't sell either.
