Two Questions + Pics of F-ed up EVO

so one of my friends completely totalled his evo and he had a little part out day in NE florida. Well i needed alot of things for my EVO8 so i stripped his car completely. i took his valve cover his intake intercooler piping air filter dashboard, interior pieces and alot of cosmetic stuff. The car drove alil rough after putting on the buschur racing intake... it was more prone to stalling ( i have cams) and drove a lil choppy. I didnt worry about it after spending sooo long stripping my buddies car and just drove home. Well when i woke up in the morning and tried to take my gf to work my car was barely running right. it sounded like ALOT of misfires the car was hard to get moving into first gear but once rolling and at high rpms the msfires would slow down. i checked the coils and they were on tight so i changed the spark plugs. this seemed to fix it somewhat but if i slowly rev the car up to aroun 1500 rpm.... i think im hearing misfiring but i dont know if im mistaking it with camming. so i have two questions for everyone does the buschur racing intake pipe cause excessive turbulance and fool with the MAS like alot of intakes do, and is the car supposed to still be camming around 1500 or is it misfire. i really want to know soon because if its a bad coil im gona take my friends off his car.

I will be parting out some of his aftermarket parts... the ones which dont sell before the insurance lady takes it away

Thats not bad way less damage then mine had.

But since it was hit on that side, id suggest checking the block for cracks where the motor mount braket bolts to the block. I started telling everyone to check that first before you get it all back together and it leaks.

I have been tuned 5 times the only thing different about this setup is the intake and the valve cover, but i have been tuned for the cams and my idle is set to 1100. i dont think the intake should make it stall unless there is a leak somewhere...

Definitely need a tune even if you've been tuned twice, an intake is the NUMBER ONE thing that needs to get tuned after getting installed, from my experience almost needs a tune more than cams, I would bet that is causing the majority of your problems. Sorry, but looks like you're in for number 6. Sucks for your friend though, I hope insurance gets him covered well enough that he can get something else fun too. Maybe an '08 STi to show you who's boss? jp
