STRI mech boost gauge help

Ok I got my flame suit on and ready. I recently purchased an STRI mech. boost gauge of a member on here. I already ran all the lines and set up in the car etc... My problem is it is not turning on or have any reading. its stuck at 10 psi to y the way. I have used ALL how to from EvoM, SoCal Evo, NorCal and EvoMoto. I dont think I am getting the wiring right. It come with Red, Yellow, Black. Red is 12volt power, Yellow is 12volt illumination and black is ground. I tried the stereo wiring harness method in one how to and ended up with nothing. I tried the gauge cluster dimmer switch in another how to and ended up with nothing. Can anyone tell me were are good places for the wires with pics. This is kinda a last resort because if it doesnt work (If I am shown a way to wire it and it still doesnt work) then there is gonna be a dispute on merchandise through two members here and I will ask paypal for a refund and ask the mods to take my pos. feedback off as well due to the fact numerous installation techniques were used and the merchandise hasnt worked.. So please if anyone could help a wounded combat veteran it would be appreciated. Happy New Years.

well regardless of the wiring (lighting) the boost gauge is MECHANICAL...so if the gauge just sits on 10 psi whether the car is on or off the gauge is broken

aside from that wiring it is simple...depending where you wire it it may not light up until you turn your headlights on

I sold the gauge. It was new in the box, so I had no idea it didn't work. I'm sincerely sorry about that. You would figure a brand new gauge would work properly, but I guess there can always be a defective product out there. Lord knows we've all run into them from time to time.

Anyhow, check your paypal...I've just refunded your money.

Please send the gauge back to me and I'll work to get a refund from the EvoM vendor that I bought it from.

Sorry about that. I can't believe a brand new gauge didn't work. Oh well, I'll handle it with the vendor.
