We made 820 @ 44psi without the bottle. With a 100 shot NOS we made 923 on the first pass and 924 on the second pass but we cracked a cylinder wall. The pistons are fine and even the head gasket were fine. We don't know what happen there, if someone can shime in and explain what can cause that, let me know please. We are going to built another motor next week but want to know what caused that.

Thanks!!!

if that motor is the same motor you were running before its probably fatigue that cracked it.. I dont think its tuning thats cracking the walls, i think its just cylinder pressure over time.. my guess atleast..

cement block and alcohol time.. you got sporty over there for tuning!!!

We took the rod and piston out of the car and everything is fine. The rod bearings are fine. Apparently the cylinder wall didn't hold the power. My pistons are 20 over so don't know if that is the problem or as you, USP, said earlier is a fatigue problem. There is 0 sign of detonation on the motor. No sign either on the pistons, bearings and cylinder wall.

Our motor was the same, no detonation and all looked well with bearings etc.. Just fatigue is my guess, i cant see how you can prevent it other than cement block and some alchy!!
