got doored last night

well on my way out from the grocery store and my fiance was picking on me for parking so far away from the other cars and she asked me what i'd do if i ever got doored.

sure as ****, 10 seconds later, some kid doors my car, and leave a half moon shape worth of scratches and a small dimple. 9 out of 10 times, when you get doored, you never know who did it...but this kid confessed and he works at a detailing center and said to bring it on down.

So today i bring it down there and they buff it out, and it mostly came out, but obviously not the small dent...and all the guys at the detailing place kept saying is, you have to look really hard to see the dent.

I guess my guess my question is, has anyone ever had it quoted to take a small small dent out from like a "dent wizard" type company?? how much has it cost??

sorry for the venting, but i try my hardest to protect my car and then something not even work the deductable for comp ins. happens....WTF

The dent doctor thing works most of the time. See if that kid can include that deal for you as well....

most detailing places have a "dent doctor"

The car was mint before and should be mint after. Fair is fair, unless youre the type to not care about small things.

I have like 3-4 dings on my door and rear quater panel a local PDR shop pull it out for me for $175
Most shop or PDR company charge like $150 per ding.
Learn my lesson and never drive my evo to the supermarket or any busy store/mall.

I work at a dealer and we have a guy that does paintless dent removal for cheap. Usually small door dings are removed any from $50+. The more dents you have, the better deal you'll get. If it's not that bad, live with it until it happens again. Trust me, it won't be the last door ding you'll ever have.
