need help evo users

so this morning i was driving my car and i heard a whinning sound and previously it did not do this i added a aftermarket bov and had to relocate it and wher the stock bov on my evo 8 was theres a hole i had a plug in there but it flew off somehow and the car drives as if the turbo wasnt working? any ideas on wat i could be? thnks. it drives but with no ***** could that hole be letting out too much air before it gets to the turbo??

Why did you replace the stock diverter valve with an aftermarket BOV? I suggest that you remove the aftermarket piece and replace it with the stock DV.

EDIT: I just think that it might be worth trying, strictly for comparative reasons. Maybe in the process you'll solve the issues that you are experiencing.

use the stock bov or go pick up an evo ix bov (they are better)

yea i just put a greddy type s on my evo 8 and its been running like garbage since. still pulls fine tho, just bogs down and bucks alot. but the thing is i bought it used and it already had a blitz bov on there...all i did was swap em, no relocating or changes at all.

yea tht was my problem too i bought my car used and it came with one.and the hks bov i bought requiered me to move somethinngs around...hope its nothing big/

ok ok if im reading this right he has a hole in im guessing the upper iintercooler pipe? If thats the case then i don't know how you can't figure out what the problem is. Hole in the pipe were there should be no hole equals escape route for charged air= lack of charged air in the intake= no ***** for your car. Hope that helps
