I put my o2 housing on a bench, put a wrench on the sensor pushing down therefore pushing the opposite side of the housing up and hit the flange with a hammer. It took a couple hits. I did let it soak in PB for a while though.

I sprayed mine with wd40 and let it site over night. Then I had to put a 3/8 air compressor rachet with a lot of muscle and it finally came out. That must of been torqued to 200+ foot pounds.

I don't remember mine being that hard to take off my first RS. Still have yet to try this current one.

bro a socket will not go on there. The o2 sensor is like 300 bucks or more. let it sit overnight with some wd40 keep trying and spraying as you go. It will work this is not impossible they do come off.

If you don't know about it already, get an actual O2 sensor socket. It's a large socket with a small area cut out of the side for the wiring harness to slide into. Also, when you're removing the sensor, pay attention to the amount of force needed to remove it as you go. If it starts to feel like it's binding or becoming harder to turn, go the opposite direction and screw it back in a couple of turns. Sometimes the rust can build up in the threads and doing this well help avoid stripping the threads. Good Luck

That front 02 sensor is kind of important so I'd either oil the old one and let it sit for a while or buy a new one altogether.
