So who else doesn't drive their EVOs?
Had mine for 9 months and I think I'm up to 3500 miles or so. I have my '95 Accord for the 60-mile round trip to work because it's easier on the wallet (30+ mpg) and my place of employment has done enough damage to the Accord (2 flat tires and a hit to the rear bumper). I usually try to drive it most weekends, but I have the fiance's C5 to compete with there. Lately, she's been holding down some carpet in the garage because the weather is poopy, and I'd rather not have to wash another car in the cold if I don't have to. I've got some mods piling up in the garage, so hopefully that will motivate me to drive it more when the weather gets nice again.
I daily drive my Evo, but I probably won't for ever. I bought mine brand new a little over two months ago and it only has 1600 miles on it as of today. I love driving it but I have a short commute to work and I try to stay away from the freeway until I figure out when I am going to put the 3-M on the front end. I will eventually get another beater car but the Evo will still get driven more than just the weekends. I enjoy the boost too much to leave it in the garage all the time.

not driving it in the winter or rain?? that's blasphemy you guys!
i drive it every day regardless if it's cold, salty, snowy, icey, raining, dirty or if Godzilla is on the prowl. how could i not drive it, considering i paid all that money for the car and insurance. most of the year it's all dirty and rims are completely brown from brake dust, but who cares? i wash it maybe like 4 times a year and clay bar/wax once or twice. the paint still looks great when it's washed.
i even drove it recently in the slush/light snow and mildly icey roads on Falkens because i didn't bother swapping my winter tires/rims on. that's only because the winter has been warm and relatively snow free.
don't treat your cars like pre-madonnas and give them a good bath in the dirt

My car insurance is cheaper with 2 cars seriously. My evo is an 06, I typically work on it every weekend, then take it out for a 5 mile or so cruise. I just got a fixer-upper GSX and a DD 3000GT that might take up my weekends for the next few months though. I try to get to all of the evo meets and whatnot. It still have 4100 miles on it, and it's already more than 2 years old. I drive my m3 everywhere, it has on average 27k miles each year I have owned it. I am selling it as I just got a 3000GT to daily drive, because damm that thing is comfy inside! Also have an armada for moving stuff, grocery shopping, that sort of thing.
I put 28000 miles on it before it became a weekend car. Now only Fridays and Saturdays are the days my wife has to put up with me starting it in the morning and waking her up, it has 31000 miles on it now.
I haven't driven mine since October 07. Winters here in NE Ohio are really rough on vehciles. Even when the weather is nice I may only drive it 2-3 days a week, and that right to the track

but i cant stand seeing my car dirty or near salt.
..too much snow all year.
