Help with evo dealer prob

I bought my evo about 3 weeks ago it came with a low spoiler but that was the only white they could get so the dealer gave me work order for a cf wing. I had the car for 3 days and took it back to get the wing put on i called the whole first week and they said they were ordering it should be one day then it became 2 they a week from japan, finally they say they got it and there having electrical probs wit the car so itll take longer(they never even touched the car the service guy was just lieing to me). I get a call the next day from the guy im buying the car from saying the wing is going to cost them to much money and they wont to give me a black one on the lot and I say no to it so they decide to try to get me a new white blue or silver evo. after another week they dont call me so i go down there and no one will talk to me so i go back wit my dad and they say now there going to bite the bullet and put the wing on it but they have had the car for 3 weeks!!! the sales manager says itll be done on friday my dad asked what happens if its not done my then he says they dont want to take back the car but if i want they will give me a refund. so i go home talk to my mom and we decide we wont a refund so i call back the same day and the sales manager says he ordered the part and i have to give them a chance to fix the car wtf they have had it for 3weeks he said itll be done on friday and if it isnt or i dont like the job i can get a refund he claims but im not sure since they have been lieing to me the whole time what should I do? I want a refund cause they dont deserve my money but do I have to wait until friday or should i demand it back? I also live in california so what are the laws for this situation here?
Please help!!!!!!!!

you have an option of buying the CF wing from another source and taking it to a reliable body shop and putting it on professionally. Don't ***** to them unless you have other Mitsu dealers around who can help you out servicing your car in the future. Just tell them you will report to JD Power as a poor service quality dealer and will not be dealing with them again due to dishonest and poor quality service. Just Fxxx them and treat the problem like a gentleman. putting up with them will only make you tired and frustrated. Don't fall into the same class as them.

you might want to go back and seperate that monstrocity into paragraphs and compete sentences (that make sense..)

but yea, seems like you got a bad dealership.. why dont you tell us WHICH dealership? maybe they dont deserve anyone's business

my advice... after you figure out what you want, go for it. they lied, and have had your car on their lot longer than you had it...

oh, and what exactly was their reason for deciding you must give them a chance to fix it? after telling you a refund was an option no less..

are you talking about a refund for the wing, or a refund for the car itself? I'm thinking the wing as you said they didn't want to take the car back. Of course they wouldn't want the car back...they'd have to sell it used and eat all that initial depreciation. Please tell us what dealership this was!! I think those of us who live in the L.A. area would love to know!!

Tell me what the whole purpose of them having your car sit there for three weeks is for in the first place?? Your car doesn't need to be there while you wait for the freakin wing to come in.... I don't see why you let them keep it there... This is kinda on you in a way... Simply tell them to call you when it's in while you go around the town enjoying your new EVO... Then you can call them everyday and bug them until it gets in..!!

the reason its been there for 3 weeks is the service guy told me the wing would take only one day to put on so I believed him then he lied to me and told me it would be an extra day then another day then from japan then he told me they had it but they were having probs wit getting it on. The thing is they never touched the car and 2 weeks later they tell me they want to give me a new evo wit a wing. I went to get my car and they wouldnt let me have it so its not on me and yes the refund is for the car not the wing

Get your refund for the car.. To me this sounds like they might have damaged it somehow and were repairing it... If they refused to let you have YOUR car back, then that is theft and you can file charges.. A bunch of B/S, but technically that is what it is... So you can at any time go get your property back from them, they cannot keep it from you... You signed the papers, you own the rights to the car.. Not them..

They never even ordered the wing until this week they were lieing to me to buy themselves time to figure out what to do, so they never even touched the car. Now he says that the wing will be put on by friday cause he just ordered the part

uh i don't think the dealer can take back the car. you signed a legal contract. once u drive it off the lot, the car is yours and is depreciated 10-20% already. if they are offering you a refund, they must have screwed up your car dude.

The sales manager told my dad if its not done by friday or if I wasent happy with the work that I could get a refund which was probally a lie to

It should only take 1-2hrs for them to put on a wing.....I'd just sit with the car and wait, or watch as they install it, but never drop off the car and leave it there for work....smells fishy on their part....did they f it up or something?

No they never touched the car they lied to me and told me they were trying to put it on but it was just to buy them time because they were trying to find another white evo to give me because they didnt want to put the wing on mine.

You have bought the car, paid in full.

It has a title, tags. You have the keys.

You did not drive it off the lot?

You have a sales contract. It specifies a large carbon fiber spoiler. The car does not have one.

Get the spoiler. Or get a refund, or get a lawyer (not mom and dad).
