Clutch-y Smell

So I was starting today up a hill, and stalled out. Got a little nervous and after starting it up I let out the clutch at about 5-6 grand. I let it go pretty quick and let off the gas soon after but it smelled nicely afterwards. Not overwhelming, but definitely noticable. Drove it for a while and seemed ok. How bad is this for my car? I'm not planning on doing it regularly but ONCE isn't going to nuke it is it?

Don't worry, You didn't break anything, but you definately took a bit off the life of the clutch. I wouldn't recomend doing that agian though.

Well, just drove it today. No slipping even in 5th at WOT, or 4th at WOT at 5-6K. I'm golden, right?

You'll be fine man. Things happen, just don't make a habit out of it. Shouldn't have decreased the life much at all.
