Installed LED tail light bulbs, now getting all 3 ACD lights lighting up solid.

I have installed the 6 ohm resistor in parallel - tomorrow will be the test to see if it works.
I also measured to see. When I unplug the LED from the end and put the meter in to measure the voltage I get about 1.1 volts. (this is when the key is on, but the brakes are not pressed)
obviously it goes to about 12-14 when I hit the brakes and it lights up.
When I put the resistor in parallel with the LED and took a voltage measurement across the terminals I get 0.16 Volts with the key on, brakes NOT pressed - with nothing connected it comes up as 1.1 or so.
The resistor gets quite hot when I press the brakes. Assuming this works as a fix is it safe to double sided sticky tape it to the bottom of the package tray sheetmetal? I can't even touch it with my fingers.
Also, I did ALOT of searching. Just like the others, the 3 ACD lights will only come on if I am driving at night (headlights on) - When I drive home from work it is day light out and I never ever get the error.
In the morning before the sun comes up and its dark, when I turn off the lights and parking lights the error goes away. (It goes back to TARMAC)

I drove this morning with the 6 OHM resistor in parallel with the 3rd brake light, it did not give me the 3 ACD light error, but this is only 1 day. I want to test it for a few more days before I say "this works".
ACD Problem
Did you disconnect your battery at all when you put these tail lights in?
If you did, you may want to go back and ensure that you connected everything back to the positive terminal. I have had this problem before when installing a new stereo. I had to go back through all the wiring diagrams which took me several hours and found that there is a little wire that connects to the positive terminal of that battery. This should solve your problem.

5 days with no problems using the 6 ohm resistor. I have however decided to go with the farmer light as it is going to be brighter. Anyways, atleast now we know how to fix this problem.

Just wanted to confirm with everyone, the 6 ohm resistor trick does indeed fix this problem if anyone else wants to run an LED replacement bulb in the center high mount spot.
I have a EVO9 SE and recently had a clutch replacement. Since then My car was basically parks for about 3 months. I recently started driving again and parking attendant told me my reverse lights do not come on at all. I also have a BuddyClub Secu-Timer with HKS harness. I did not connect the security feature using the YELLOW Wire. There is a GREY wire that hooks up to the Handbrake which activates the timer and you are able to take the key out and as we all know the car would stay on for that set amount of time. Doing this for me leaves the all 3 ACD lights on. Not sure if its related to either:
-The CLUTCH installation by which it started with the REVERSE LIGHTS
OR
-The BuddyClub SecuTimer installation.
I thought I would mention it since I was planning on buying a full rear LED setup from Farmer and did not as yet but still having this ACD/BackUP light problem.
Any thoughts guys?

I experienced this same issue. Changed third brake light bulb to led and after about 20 minutes of driving all ACD lights would light up. This occurred when driving with the parking lights or headlights on. If I shut the headlights (or parking lights) off then turned them back on the acd lights would go back to only one. Also I noticed with the parking lights or headlights on, the third brake light would be constantly on (dimly lit). I switched back to a regular bulb and it resolved the issue. It makes sense that the ABS and ACD are tied into the third brake light, as this would be used for sensing braking (only on when brake pedal is depressed).
