$20 a tire without them getting rid of the old ones for you. Some will charge you an extra $3 - 4 to recycle the old ones.

Too damn much, most of the shops around here don't want to do low profile tires and surcharge for it. I just paid around 140 for mount/balance on 4 stock size tires. Had them use sticky weights so as not to damage the rims, and some of the weights almost immediately flew off...

I started my work day off just fine and got done extra early to get my new Nitto NT555R 245/45/17's put on my car the track meet im attending on Sunday. Needless to say I should have just stayed at work. Out of the 8 places I went to 4 of them flat out refused to mount them because I did not purchase the tires through them, 3 wanted anywhere between $25-$44 per tire!!!, and the last one was only open for an hour and a half after I got there and they said that was not enough time.

Hey If you live in the miami area, you might want to check out the goodyear around the Pembroke pines area next to broward community college south campus. Did mine there with no problems. Excellent service and they didn't scratch my rims which I was highly concerned from the begining. Go in and ask for harvey, he'll take care of you. But be sure to tip him.

Well I ended up pulling the rims off myself and taking them to walmart. $41.60 out the door for all 4. They would not do the mount and balance with the rims on the car because they are not exactly stock size 245's instead of 235's. It's a "liability issue". Car looks nice and mean with Nitto Drag radials on Can't wait for the track on sunday. 11.4 on stock turbo/stock cams here I come!

Do you have any friends that work at a tire shop? I change tires and rims all the time for my friends and they get it done for free. If only you were around here, I would have done them for ya!
