I think he's talking about PPG gears not a tranny swap (since that can be done for cheaper).

It's up to you really, you can trade your car in and take a hit that way but end up with an evo or you can spend the money making the car you have into what you want.

I would get an evo. You could reach 400hp a lot easier in one. Also, the trannys are not the best in the evos, but if you treat it good, it will treat you good..

It all depends on what car you like to look at when you wake up and go outside to get the mail.

All cars will have tremendous hp gains with the right cash, and they break parts when you make the numbers that really matter to 'everyone'.

An STI trade would be easier, but I think a lot of us here were choosing between the evo or sti, and went with an evo. Hell i'm a noob
and i've seen mult threads asking which is better. I think you should def get an evo though, they're so much fun. I think your best bet is to sell the wrx first and have a good chunk of change to plop down. Though I think 20k is asking a little much, mods don't raise a cars value. Depends on mileage I suppose. Either way, good luck.

It all depends man. How fast are you actually looking to go? What numbers are you looking to put out? 400hp is a lot easier to get in the Evo then the WRX for sure.
