Hey guys just got brand new megan tracks shipped in and since this is my first time working with coilovers I was wondering what is with the whole spring preloading deal? What do I have to do with the coilovers before I install them? Any special preinstallation tweaks? Thanks guys!!

Just installed my set earlier this week. The only thing I would suggest is to try to get close to setting ride height before you install them. Makes it much easier than trying span them to desiered ride height. (I used stack shock messurement then just guess how much lower to set mine.


Preload. This requires a knowledgable person that can Corner balance your car. ( Using scales for each tire to set desired weight balance.) I would just leave this alone if you are not sure what to do just leave it as it comes from Megan, I am Corner balancing my car tomorrow and after initial install it still drove great.
