You can have it recleared. It costs a little bit but I think its better than painting it black. Or order a new one

Ultimate CC provides service for this situation.
Look in the Vendor (Services) section in case this link doesn't take you there.
Just a suggestion to throw out there...

Yeah, good luck with that. I tried to get mine warranted and was flat out told no by every northern California dealership I tried....each one said the same thing...it is normal wear and tear.

My car was in warranty when I tried and was told no, the wing is not covered. The fact is mitsubishi sucks when it comes to warranties and will avoid covering an evo any chance they get

I tried to have my Wing and Brembos warrantied out. At first they said no, but I called corporate. They finally OK on warrantying out the wing, but they said the clear coat peeling on the Brembos are wear and tear so it was not warrant able.

I had my wing replaced under warranty. The dealership told me you have to be original owner and have the car under 36 months. No love on the brembos though.

even waxing it won't do anything.. I believe it's because of the clear coat they used. For CF parts - it's best to go with a marine grade clear coat I believe.. At least that's what carbon by design states.
