Well after a month of my Evo VIII being at the dealer and having them try to screw me over $1300+ for a blown head-gasket that they caused I got my car back...And didn't pay a cent. Man I'm so happy! Thanks to everyone who's helped me (including some of the vendors) with my questions/suggestions and countless posts dealing with this issue.

Congrats! Its good to hear the dealer losing sometimes. 98% of the time we always hear about people getting s****ted out of luck fighting with dealership.

Thanks guys, it really was a very exhausting and frustrating process. I had to compile a folder full of information both on the forums, what vendors sent me as well as what technicians at other local mitsu dealerships all disproving what this particular dealer was claiming. I then threatened to contact the BBB and take them to small claims court. They saw the "ammunition" I had compiled and I think they realized I was in no way tolerating their incompetence and greed.

I should note that contacting Mitsu Corp. was a big waste of time however lol.

The BBB is the **** they helped with a couple of bad situations and even helped me take on Bank of America

 

Wow, I didn't think that BBB would do so much. I always thought it was reference for bad businesses in practice. People usually don't care if they get reported or not. Good to hear.

 

Glad to hear it all worked out

 

mitsu dealership scratched my door jams. i got them to repaint them free of charge so sometimes we can win, lol!
