Hey guys I want to share my experiance at Brothez racing.Me and my friend drove down to Tampa Florida from New Orleans for 10 hours, to get my car tune by brotherz racing. Monday May 5th 2008 i got there at 12:00 pm they put my car the dyno, and tune it for less then 1 hour and we found an oil leak from the oil cooling. So we stoped tuning it and try to fix the leak. they took from about 1 or 2 pm to fix the leak they never finish till the next day at around 3pm. They dont have anything in house to fix anything. every 10 or 15 minutes there running some where to go get parts. at the end of the day they charged me $444 to put the car on the dyno and fix the oil leak , the car tune for less then 1 hour. i DONT mind paying to fix the oil leak, if its completly fix. And they also tell me that the turbo i have has a shaft play, I just bought that turbo from EDDIE or PROCCO EVO. So i called Eddie up and try to find out , i took my car to the guys at big valley right when i got my car of the lift. And they took the turbo off the next day they itspected it and CFT inspected it my turbo was fine. They wanted me to buy the bullseye turbo from them.
And after they was done with my car, they put my friends car on the dyno. Oh, wait my friend was missing a methanol nozzle . I called them to make sure that they have the methanol nozzle in stock for the SMC kit, and they said yes they have it. When we got there they dont have it. They second day the found it, they have to go get it at another shop in town. And they were just sitting around not doing any work to my friends car. They have 4 people that works there 2 machanic 1 tuner the tuner was the only one working. So after the got the methanol nozzle, they were just sitting around doing nothing. SO i have to hook it up myself for my friend. And they had to install a manual boost controller to my friend car . Guest what guys, they have to print a paper from the internet out to see how to install it. They took 5 hours to do a custum ECU flash to my friends car and my friend paid $304.

Do yall think its fair that i got tune for less then an hour and my oil leak is not even fix. And i paid $444. My friend paid $304 for a 5 hour tune and install a boosted manual boost contoller. They call it a tune At 14psi I got 445 hp, on the procco evo turbo.

So i took my car to Big Valley the same day the car still need a tune and the oil is still leaking . I ask them at Brotherz Racing to ajust my bill . Because I dont think its right that i have to pay that much for something that is not even fix or tune right....

Thanks for all the support from EDDIE " Procco evo" , the guys at BIG VALLEY PERFORMANCE, and the guys at CFT. They mean there to support me and I really appreciate it. Well my car is in good hands now . But i still have to come home heart broken with out my car.Guys if your in the Tampa area and want work done to your car BIG VALLEY is the way to go. Nice and clean shop, people are so nice. Just the shop that i trust to touch my car , thanks to EDDIED that told me about them... And the car will be tuned by ROLO from CFT...
Over all bad experiance , but i got to meet good guys and a great shop.

Do I recomment Brotherz racing "NOOOOOOOOOOOO" any advise guys.

Damn that sucks bro. A lot of people around the area go there to use their dyno. I never went there so i don't have experience with them.
At least your car is in good hands now.

Wow, sorry for the rough experience, it's always a downer getting both your time and money taken for granted when it comes to performance shops.

Should of saved hours of driving and gas and just drove to GA and saw Andrew at Dyno4mance!!!! Great guys that really know their stuff!

 

S&R is also here in Tampa. From the name you might think that they just work on 240's but they work on everything. I haven't had them do anything as intensive as tuning but I know they have a dyno there and they're a nice bunch of guys. I've seen them work on S2000's, an old and very loud Vette dragster (sounded like the drums from Hot For Teacher), a turbo 350Z, and one of the guys that works there has an Evo (Knightwolf2020). Sorry for your back luck with Brotherz. I haven't been there but have heard of them and was considering them back when I needed my sway bar mounts lengthend. Glad I went to S&R instead.
