Buying new EVO 8 with less than 10 miles..
Hey guys, I read somewhere that some EVO owners have gotten theirs with about 4 miles on the odemeter new. My buddy who bought his weighleess white EVO got his with 10 miles on the clock.
When I get mine I'd love to get one with like 4-5 miles on the clock....
How easy is it to find?

they are most certainly still coming in off the boat. and yeah, it does matter. be sure and get exactly what you want and pay for.
i'd never buy the car I was given a test 'ride' in, the guy (sale manager) was grinding gears and going well well past the "break-in" RPMs... fun ride though...

Thats exactly right! When I went with my buddy shopping for EVO's one dealership had a bunch of EVO's in stock and all of them had like 19+ miles on them. We were unhappy by the milege and looked around till we found one, a showroom white model, with 10 miles.
I'm hoping to get mine either in BBY or Yellow with like 4-5 miles on the clock. Although i'll be getting the 2004 model when its released, I will insist on getting what I want.

11 miles on mine when i picked it up. The sales people were very good at driving the car slow for me... At least thats what i saw... Plus the sales manager has one... so i think they know how crucial it is to break it in properly.. and not abuse it the first few miles.
I have 4 miles on my car. The car is fresh from the port/dock. But, I have to pay MSRP on my car.
I think you have to paid more if you specific wanted a car with low mileage. From my experience, go for the car which is sitting in the dealer lots. You'll get more bargain power.
FYI, I can get a dealer to give me $1500 off MSRP for a Apex Silver Evo 8 that's currently in stock/lot.

My car had just rolled off of the truck a hour or so before i got her. They just finished peeling the tape off and washing her up.Heck, they didnt even have the mark up sticker on it yet. LOL After a fill up from Mitsu the car had 6 miles on it when i left the lot.
