hey guys i took my evo out for a pull last night and i noticed on one pull (and ive experienced this once before) when im getting on it and shifting redline... as im climbing up the RPM it feels like a huge jerk and i hear a clunk, it made the similar feeling of my uicp popping off the throttle body but it definately wasnt popped off though... does anybody know what this could be? any help would be appreciated

100% normal if you shift hard, I wouldn't recommend it though.

 

your shifting very hard, work on it

that clunk sound is your rear diff begging you to learn to drive smoother, you will end up breaking something if you continue

 

no i know that type of jerk when i just straight slam into gear and dump clutch, this is when im already in gear climbing toward 6500 - 7000 WOT... i feel a pop as if my uicp, its not that type of jerk..

 

if you blow an intercooler piping coupler off, you will know right away....

but it wouldnt hurt to over over and tighten down all the clamps a little bit
