So my dad decided to borrow the Evo
He has been around racing all of his life. Gocarts as a kid then bracket racing in the later years. He is in his 50's now.
Over the weekend while I was in the hospital, pregnant wife had complications but everything is cool, he was out cruising in the Evo. He was helping me watch our kids while I was gone and at some point he had a shift change with my sister and burned up over a 1/4 tank of gas. A quick backround on my Evo, 3065 + all the bolt ons 272's yada yada running on 110 leaded. I talk to him the next day and he is still grinning from ear to ear. Holy **** was mentioned about 50 times. More than I have heard in probably 5 years combined. We work together so I do see him pretty often too. Now he is looking to buy a car for the drag strip. Evo's can do some wonderful things.

Im trying to convence my dad to drive mine..... he is one of those "no replacement for displacement " guys.... but wont drive my car... he say its "to low to the ground" and all this stuff......
Congrats on letting your Dad enlighten himself as to how much these car's really rock. My Dad has always had love for extreme autos just mostly twords the exotic side of things, He also grinned for days after having my car for a weekend...Guess old dogs can learn new tricks.
Also, Congrats and best wishes to your family for the new addition!

my dad is the same way. And I hear the complaints afterwards about how his back is stiff as hell from the ride and seats.
