I don't know! Help!

Hey guys i need your help. I drove from Michigan to Toronto last night. I notice if i accelerate up to between 3500RPM to 4000RPM and boosting somewhere close to full boost the car would jump 500ish RPM's then back down to what it should be at and accelerate normal the rest of the way. So it's kind of like a lunge. It will do it no matter how hard I accelerate. It just does it harder when i accelerate harder.

My car (IX) is stock except for a K&N filter. This is the first time it done it.

Thanks in advance

Testudo is correct. Put your car in 4th at 35mph, floor it and if the rpm jumps quick and the car doesn't your clutch is needing a replacement

not long, dont push it anymore, one of the guys didn't take it easy on it, it ran out completely that he couldn't even drive it to the garage, he had to lift it. try to change it as soon as possible but if you had to wait a little longer be gentle.

if you can stay out of boost and be really gentle you may be able to make it...obviously you already know that its pretty much when the force of boost coming on is when it starts to slip so just stay out of boost if you can and try and save that sucker...you should be fine, just make sure you have a tow truck on speed dial GL
