I love this car

Ever drive your Evo and get that warm, fuzzy feeling that you know beyond any shadow of a doubt that you got the right car? I just did. Driving back from the gf's place, everything just seemed to click. The ease with which it passes and hugs the road, the noise it makes under throttle, the way the shifter and pedals and steering feel like an extension of your brain: this is what sets our cars apart from all but the very best sports cars in the world.

We're all sometimes guilty of forgetting how lucky we are. Yearning for more power or more grip or hell, even a different set of wheels, is something all enthusiasts do. But at the end of the day, remember that we're all blessed enough to drive one of the most iconic and accomplished sports cars of our time, maybe even of all time. If I have anything to say about it, I'm never letting mine go.

I am totally feeling what you are saying.

My girlfriend always ask's me why I look so serious when I drive my car. I just tell her "I'm just taking the whole experience in."

I love my car and the way it drives/feels.

Its all about the driving experience. I feel all the bumps in the road and how the car reacts. The sound of the exhaust and spooling turbo. The feel of the gearbox and clutch. Ahhhhh....... So good.

I couldn't aggree more. I get a lot of "whats so special about it, it's just another car" to which I get very deffencive and say no its not. It's not just another car. a toyota corolla is, a stratus is. An Evo is NOT. I love waking up in the morning knowing that I get to go outside and drive my car to work. I seriously have never ever been so excited to do that every day.

It's going to be 10x better when I get back to MA because I live out in the sticks with a bunch of long twisty windy roads to get to work. Talk about a way to wake up in the morning.

Who needs coffee when you have boost?!?

Buying an Evo was probably the best purchase of my life lol although buying a car isnt a great investment. I just cant stand getting rock chips all over it so I barely drive it. Ive driven 2k miles in the 2-3 months ive owned it.
