Has anyone suffer from vibrating console after installing their TBE? How did you get rid of it? I am thinking about using some dynamat.

It seems like I have something in my dash vibrating like crazy. Thats my one and only complaint about my car. Subscribing to this cause I want to see what peoples suggestions are.

I tried putting pressure on the dash in different spots but it seems to be inside the dash somewhere. I just don't have the time and knowledge to take the dash out and troubleshoot.

mine is not the dash. i really believe it is on the console, right by the e-brake.

it also worst in the morning (when it is colder). it vibrates less in the afternoon (when it is warmer). this makes sense since things expand when it is warmer, making it less movements.

are you sure nothing is hitting against the exhaust? Mine vibrates too right near the handbrake but its not all the time. i checked underneath and I see some sort of screw that is near the heatshield where the stock cat is. This screw is really close to the exhaust and thats probably what is touching against the exhaust. Haven't had a chance to get under there and bash the heatshield out of the way

Yeah. Mine did it even before I changed those out. Its only at idle. Once I give it some gas, it goes away until it drops to idle at a light or something.

When I first put on my tbe (catless), the sound was so loud it was hurting my ears and it resonated through out the cabin and I got some vibrations as well. After a while though it quieted down and the vibrations stopped from what I'm guessing is exhaust soot "coating" the inner piping.
