Beats being pulled over three times in one night....

 

seriously...

 

Philly cops are awesome. Pulled me over once for speeding, noticed my bike helmet, and we talked about bikes for an hour over the side. Actually ended going for a ride with him and other officers later that weekend. Still got a ticket but, hey, I was speeding. You have illegal tint, so what, bite the bullet! Its their job to cite you! Imagine the streets if every cop let people go because they shared some common interest.

 

He probably had you for something else and let you off light with a tint ticket.

Cops are not your friends. I don't care how much they may seem like your buddy.

 

I got pulled over for tailgating a slow *** car in front. The cop was a fan of the evo's so we ended up talking for about 15mins. No ticket or warning. Then he turn his lights on and stop traffic so I can pull out. Guess it was just luck.

 

I have no desire to move to cali... They take the whole emissions thing way to seriously

 

It's cool that the cop has a common interest in our cars but to give you a ticket after all the socializing just isn't cool. Granted you might have had illegal tint on your car but he could have been all business in the beginning as opposed to giving you false hope.

 

Sounds like it was one of those 'you are a ricer' ticket by an enthusiast cop
I really don't understand the tinting on performance cars either, it hinders visibility.

 

Damn those cops for only giving you a 10$ fix it ticket when you freely admitted to also having an exhaust and an intake. They're real A-holes for doing their job.
