not all cusco are useless
i never had a inspection problem with this one . On road course. And it is stiffens up the body crazy! You defenietly feel the handling difference.
THis is a Cusco Safety 21 , 8 point cage. But with this no room for back seats or sunroof.

Safety 21's are technically not, because the main loop doesn't have a cross bar. So if you weld that one in, they became legal. I talk to the inspectors many times about this and i was planning to do that one bar install. But now i got a X so the cage is useless in the X.

Also most of the Cusco roll cage are even then is not. if you see mine and the one is posted above/blue/ are two entirely different design and you cant see in the picture but different material too.

If you have a cage, you shouldn't have passengers in the rear seats, ever. Hell, you shouldn't even have passengers in the front if they're not wearing a helmet.
