What Did You Do To Your Evo Today? 2023
#6306
Today i took my first step to reflashing my ECU & adjusted some tables in my ROM so that i could utilize my AC in my evo. Felt Great to be able to come to a stop light and not have the car die while AC is on! xD
Also felt a little brave and tried to flash in a potential Rom that i set up for E85 (that i based off of my current E85 tune that my car currently has from previous owner). Vehicle did not want to start after flashing in that ROM.. LOL. So i went back to the old tune. Thankfully car started back up. Hopefully ill start getting the hang of this (first time DIY re-flasher/tuner here)
, still have plenty of reading and study to do!

So today I finally decided to get HID's for my car, I came to this website and decided to try their kit because for the price if I dont like it I can just take it out and go with something else. Allxenon.com has a $28 kit shipped, which it looks better then the ebay kits I seen.

What I did today to my 03 Evo 8 with only 49k miles
Wet sanded & buffed entire exterior, had to buff the roof twice. Wool-lite cleaned the interior/seats, also changed out the blow-off value to the Mr blow-off valve. Replaced the clutch to the spec twin disc & changed the transmission and engine oil to Amsoil fluids. Also installed the Gen 3 Flux to power me up to 1.21 gigawatts.
