Wired in ~2010 blue tooth steering wheel controls to the ~2016 radio in my 2004 RS 😂
Adding a 3000 ohm resistor brought the button resistances close enough to function as designed on the newer system.

Finally started removing cams, got everything loose but can’t figure out how to wiggle caps loose. More reasearch I guess.

Use tongue and groove pliers (channellock) to grab the caps on the sides and rock them back and forth. That's the way I was shown and do it anyway. Be gentle though aluminum is soft.

You should post them here and in the show and shine section. I don't think more photos are ever frowned upon here.

Removed cylinder head and I’m glad I did all this preventive measure because I found a metal shaving from the stripped stud issue.
Sorry it sorta doesn’t come in right in the pic.
rest of the block and head look great just needs a good cleaning.

I've used helicoil/etc many times. They work great!

Since last posting on the thread, I've added a strut tower tow hook, e85 sensor/gauge for flex fuel, went back to 17x9.5 RPFs that I'll be selling soon LOL... After the tires are done and I have the new rear control arms. Purchased X front calipers.
Alcantara cover for the steering wheel, roll bar, maybe, back to a stock turbo. Repainted the front end. Installed a Weir 12 plate rear diff, CF driveshaft. Man, I've done a lot LOL
There's more ,but I can't remember.

I finished tuning a speed density setup yesterday, what is left is getting rid of the actual maf sensor.
