I took my evo to my local performance shop to get some tuning done and get my timing belt replaced.

Did a boost leak test and fixed a leak but then a leak came out of a mysterious spot on the back of the throttle body

It's going to be a fun day. After this, the only fluid I have left to change is the coolant and that will happen when I do the timing belt and such.

Since the RS doesn't have headlight leveling controls, I put my E85 gauge there. Being right next to power and ground sources is an added bonus. Getting a dual map tune at RRE on Friday!

Drove to Sears which has always been my goto for hand tools to view their last minutes. The Craftsman section is gutted. I bought a kit of probes for my multimeter and my wife bought a clock. There's not much left in the store except $2000 clothes washers marked down to 1500. Goodbye Sears.

Yeah, sad state of business affairs for sure (Sears / Kmart / JCPenny etc). Nothing lasts forever

Was swapping my oem ex manifold for a fp cast cb port and noticed I had a snapped bolt on the hot side. Looks it’s been there a while, fastener I took out looked cleaned up to not bottom out. Lol fck that so I drilled some holes in some m10 bolts on the lathe for a guide. Carbide bits cut through them in a minute. Left handed bit didn’t work on the broken fastener but finally the easy out did. Cleaned up the threads and the hot side is off to cb for a port. What a motherfkr but it’s fixed the right way. It would of held, and did hold with the ~6 threads I had but now it won’t keep me up at night.

Hit a new massive pot hole all this rain made and damaged my wheel.... Couldnt see it since the street was flooded and it wasnt there yesterday. Also, on my way to work this morning, part of my under tray got ripped off since I had to drive about a mile in a foot of water.
