Buy a messed but fixed EVO?

I found a EVO for a good price(almost invoice) but it was rallied. Someone was demoing it and lost control and broke th trailing arm and intercooler. The frame is straight and they are fixing everything. Is it worth it?? I am not sure if I can afford a new one but if this one is just as good as a new one then why not save a couple bucks?

Try negotiating an even lower price. Like $1500 under invoice. Especially when so many people are getting this car for $500-$1000 over invoice.

Nah, I'd stay away. It may not have a full warranty since it was in an accident.

not to mention when you want to re-sell it, it's value is severely depreciated... Save up some more money, and just buy a new one. It's not worth the headaches that will come later down the road.

Never buy anything thats even been breathed on too hard. Especially not for nearly the cost of a new one. The car has obviously been abused a little and with all the Mitsubishi warranty threads lately I'd start out with something thats going to hold up. If you wanna save I always see people on here selling theirs for <27k so if you really wanna save money I'd go that route, otherwise I'd just try to work out a good deal on a new one which in todays market is very much possible.

I wouldn't pay a single dime over $20,000 for that deal. You're crazy considering buying the car for invoice!
