Help Please

Im not exactly sure how to explain this but my car has been acting very weird. A couple times a day, randomly my car will lose all power. This is what happens....

-I push the gas and feel the lack of power

-The car does not jump or buck, it accelerates smoothly but like its doing this with the brakes pressed.

-Before this happens I hit 20+ counts of knock before I even touch the gas.

-The exhaust seems to sound a little bit louder when this happens.

-This happens until I let off the gas, then usually I can resume and the car feels fine.

Other than these few times a day the car runs awesome. The car has had a reflash but it did this before the reflash as well.

Sorry if all of this makes no sense its really the best way i can explain it, any ideas?

Thanks

check all your plugs and see if they are gapped right. Check for boost leak. You LICP maybe slipping off.

Can you check fuel pressure while driving? Sounds like it could be starving a bit.

Theres a ton of info on here about this but basically, the engine senses some vibrations and mistakens it for knock, putting your car in "limp mode" until you let off of the throttle.

The cure? I don't know if there really is a cure. Some people would try different things and it would work for others but not all.
